WCCRC sets Homeownership Academy

1/31/2017

Western Catskills Community Revitalization Council, Inc. (WCCRC) is hosting a Homeownership Academy for people interested in participating in WCCRC's mobile home replacement program.
Various topics associated with homeownership will be covered.
These classes are for homeowners of older mobile homes who are interested in a mobile home replacement.
WCCRC has recently secured two grants to replace dilapidated mobile or manufactured homes in the Delaware County Town of Stamford and the Schoharie County Town of Conesville.
General eligibility for these grants will be based on household income, ownership of the property where the existing mobile or manufactured home is located, and condition of the home.
The mobile or manufactured home must be the permanent, year-round residence of applicants.
Homeownership Academy is also a required part of eligibility for the mobile or manufactured home program.
Owners of mobile or manufactured homes that are residents in other parts of WCCRC's service area are also encouraged to consider enrolling in Homeownership Academy.
Classes are expected to begin in February. Space is limited. Call (607) 652-2823, extension 101 or email info@westerncatskills .org.
