Cherry Valley Artworks to screen films from Middle East, North Africa

Cherry Valley Artworks will present a one-day festival of short films from the Middle East and North Africa on Sunday, June 25.
Festival Cinema Invisible is dedicated to showcasing contemporary short films that provide insight into the ancient and complex cultures of these regions.
FCI offers filmmakers an opportunity to reach wider audiences creating a forum for dialogue and exchange of ideas.
The program will be offered in three sessions:
•4-5:30pm – Films about traditional crafts and preserving traditions;
•5:45-7:15pm – Films about women;
•7:30-8:45pm – Films that show contemporary life and the hidden face of war.
Sessions will be introduced and discussions led by Candace Burnham, director of Public Affairs and Cultural Exchange for FCI and Scott Collins, artistic and general director.
Admission includes Middle Eastern and North African delicacies served between sessions.
