Cobleskill Police are still hunting for three men, two of them armed, who robbed Elm Street residents September 17.
“We’re still following up leads from victims,” Police Chief Rich Bialkowski said Monday.
Wearing masks, three men entered the Elm Street residence early on the 17th. Two of them displayed guns––believed to be a semi-automatic and a revolver––and demanded property from the SUNY Cobleskill students who were there.
Two women and a man were at the apartment, and the suspects struck one of the women. The three men took items, which were not described by police, and fled on foot.
A search that night by Cobleskill Police, State Police, Sheriff’s deputies and SUNY Cobleskill Police was unsuccessful.
Since then, police have been investigating, Chief Bialkowski said.
“I wouldn’t say we’re close to an arrest yet,” he said. “We’re working on making positive identifications on the suspects.”
