Schoharie Blue Streak packs house with Dem hopefuls

A crowd of 85 citizens gathered for a candidate forum hosted by Schoharie Blue Streak, a local chapter of the Indivisible movement, on Friday. Six of the democratic contenders for the competitive 19th Congressional seat currently held by John Faso spoke at a town hall meeting at the Gallupville House in Gallupville.
Democratic candidates David Clegg, Erin Collier, Antonio Delgado, Brian Flynn, Gareth Rhodes, and Pat Ryan addressed CD 19 constituents and answered questions about economic development, press freedom, and campaign strategy, among other topics of concern.
“We were quite pleased to see how many people came to learn more about these candidates. Our goal is to get county residents excited about voting in the upcoming primary. It is essential that every registered Democrat go to the polls in June and November,” said moderator Nan Stolzenburg.
The Democratic Primary election for the 19th Congressional District will occur on June 26.
