MCS hosting Regional Summer School

Middleburgh Central School District will be hosting this years Regional Summer School, beginning on July 9 and concluding on August 17.
Schools involved in Regional Summer School include Middleburgh, Duanesburg, Cobleskill-Richmondville, Sharon Springs, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, and Schoharie.
Busing will be provided by all school districts except Middleburgh.
Middleburgh students are expected to find rides to and from school.
The intention of registering students should be reported to each school’s guidance office as soon as possible.
Summer courses offered will include ELA grades 6-11, Math grades 6-8, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Health, and Global 1 and 2.
Earth Science practicum will be given early in July and parents will contacted by the guidance departments once the exact date is known.
Regents will be given in all offered subject areas but students must be registered prior to taking the Regents exam and must bring two forms of identification when taking the exam.
The examinations will be given on August 16-17. During these days no classes will be held.
August 16 exams will begin at 8am with Algebra 1, RE in English Language Arts, Physical Setting/Chemistry, and RCT in Writing.
August 16 exams at 11:30am will include RE Transition Exam, RE in Global History and Geography, Algebra 11, RCT in Science, RCT in US History and Government.
August 17 exams will begin at 8am with RE in US History and Government, Physical Setting/Earth Science, RCT in Global Studies, and RCT in Mathematics.
August 17 exams at 11:30am will include Geometry, Living Environment, and the RCT in Reading.
