Democrats will head to the polls Tuesday to pick from among seven hopefuls looking to unseat 19th District Congressman John Faso in November’s midterm elections.
Primary polls are open noon-9pm.
Candidates are:
• Jeff Beals, a teacher and former United States diplomat who lives in Woodstock.
• David Clegg, an attorney and lifelong Hudson Valley resident who works for Habitat for Humanity and Family of Woodstock.
• Erin Collier, who grew up on her family’s farm in Cooperstown and worked as an ag economist for the Obama Administration.
• Antonio Delgado, born in Schenectady, a Harvard Law School graduate, and resident of Rhinebeck.
• Brian Flynn, a small businessman and entrepreneur born in Rochester with family roots in Hunter, where he’s lived for the past five years.
• Gareth Rhodes, an Ulster County native who worked for Governor Andrew Cuomo before attending Harvard Law School.
• Pat Ryan, a Kingston native and a West Point graduate who served two tours in Iraq and now works as a businessman.
