It’s only several days into autumn, but a few people are already talking about Thanksgiving.
The Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner Committee is holding its first meeting this Friday at 8:30am at the Schoharie County Office of Emergency Services.
The office is in the former MOSA offices on Route 7 in Cobleskill.
The meeting is open to the public to help plan the 31st annual dinner, which gathers families and individuals for a free Thanksgiving meal.
“Anyone who’d like to help and volunteer is welcome at the meeting,” said Richmondville Mayor Kevin Neary, who’s been involved in planning the community dinner for years.
