A Worcester man will be in court May 7 on charges he poisoned his neighbor’s cats with antifreeze.
Antonio Fiorino, 52, was arrested at 2:35pm Thursday, April 18, and charged with two counts of the Agriculture and Markets Law of Overdriving, Torturing, and Injuring Animals.
Troopers received a call from a Worcester resident who believed Mr. Fiorino had poisoned her cats; the cats had become very sick on April 9, the resident reported, and had to be euthanized.
An investigation revealed that the cats were poisoned with antifreeze, which ultimately led to their deaths.
Mr. Fiorino was arraigned in Worcester Town Court, where he posted $500 bail.
