SALT kicks off "quality of life" grants

6/5/2019

The SALT Board of Directors has announced the second application process for its Community Development Fund.
These projects are designed to improve the quality of life in Schoharie County.
Eligible applicants are an individual who is in need of home repairs and is nominated by another individual: a church, or a not-for-profit operating in Schoharie County; the Schoharie County Office for the Aging, Schoharie County Department of Social Services or the Schoharie County Office of Community Services.
Community Development Fund projects are for home repair up to $500.
Examples of home repair projects can be outside or inside home repairs, power washing, step repair/replacement, painting of property, or planting of grass.
This round of funding is intended to help provide the nominated individual with the resources to complete home repairs.
Stronger applications will identify groups of individuals who will help the nominated individual complete the work on their home.

• May 30 - June 5– Questions submitted to info@saltdevelopment.org by 5pm
• June 28, 3pm– Grant applications due.
