The Schoharie County Democratic Committee is planning a community action day in support of Democratic candidates for local offices on Sunday, August 4, at 2pm.
All are welcome to connect with neighbors.
Neighborhood canvassing begins at 2pm, phone banking begins at 4pm and postcard writing begins at 5pm.
It is followed by a dinner provided by Sap Bush Hollow Farm. Green Wolf Brewery’s Public House in Middleburgh will be the meeting place for these activities.
The Schoharie County Democratic Committee is the local branch of the National Democratic Party.
Its purpose it to fully enable Democrats throughout Schoharie County to participate in all aspects of the electoral process, including selecting and promoting candidates for the 2019 local elections.
Organizer Theresa Heary hopes the August 4 event will help local candidates for these elections to gain publicity, share their platform, and rally their volunteers.
