State Police in Cobleskill are asking the public’s assistance with the investigation into a series of vehicle larcenies that took place at Vroman’s Nose Sunday.
Troopers responded to the parking area for the Vroman’s Nose hiking trail on Mill Valley Road in Middleburgh after five cars were broken into.
Each vehicle had a window smashed and valuables that were in plain sight were taken while their owners were hiking Vroman’s Nose.
Troopers believe these “smash and grab” larcenies took place between 12:01pm and 12:17pm on October 20.

State Police also want to remind the public to keep valuables out of sight if they are left in a vehicle.
