State Police last week arrested a sixth person in connection with the October 10 murder in Worcester.
At the same time, police and prosecutors have released suspects’ names and more details about the shooting of Kenneth Robinson on remote Head Road the night of the 10th.
Charged with first-degree burglary last week was Tatiana Febo, 17, of Downsville. She and Alexis Lotterman, 16, of Walton, were waiting outside the Robinson home while three entered the home and one stood guard, according to police.
The three who were armed and entered the home were Dylan Robinson, 15, accused of shooting his father, Nicholas Meridy, 32, and Alexander Borgreen, 16. Anais Soto, 17, stood guard, according to Otsego County District Attorney John Muehl.
Robinson, Borgreen, Meridy and Soto are all charged with second-degree murder and first-degree robbery. All four are Oneonta residents.
Dylan Robinson shot his father with a .30-06, while Meridy fired a shotgun into the floor, Mr. Muehl said.
State Police surmised two weeks ago that the motive was robbery, and Mr. Muehl confirmed that.
“They thought Mr. Robinson had a small amount of money and marijuana,” he said.
The six accused apparently fled the scene, and Mr. Robinson’s body was found by a trooper who responded to a fire call.
The teens were all Oneonta High School students, but Mr. Muehl didn’t know their connection with Meridy.
Mr. Muehl said he would file paperwork to have Dylan Robinson, Soto and Borgreen tried as adults––also Meridy––and Lotterman and Febo would be tried in Family Court.
