For the 18th year, the Schoharie County Venison Donation Program is asking hunters to donate extra deer that they’ve processed.
The venison is distributed to nine Schoharie County food pantries and can be donated at: Marlows’, Howes Cave, (518) 296-8978, or Bleaus’, Gallupville, (518) 702-5026.
If your deer is processed at Cargies in Richmondville, (518) 294-6014, they are accepting donations of ground venison by the package, thanks to the Schoharie County Conservation Association.
Hunters who donate a full deer will be entered into a drawing for a gun donated by Whitetails Unlimited.
