State Police are continuing an investigation into a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian accident that left a Middleburgh woman dead Tuesday afternoon.
Killed was Terri L. Puchala, 56.
State Police said they responded to a call that a pedestrian had been struck by a municipal dump truck near the intersection of Baker Avenue and Main Street in the Village of Middleburgh at about 2:23pm Tuesday.
Preliminary investigation determined that Ms. Puchala was struck and killed by a dump truck that had been involved in snow removal efforts.
An investigation is continuing and more details will be released as they become available.
