Reading of the Declaration of Independence, public protest on the 4th

1776 and 2020 will take center stage together Saturday in Cobleskill’s Centre Park as part of a public protest and a Celebration of Independence from 9-11am.
Those attending should wear face masks and practice social distancing.
The protest is part of ongoing efforts to recognize violence against people of color and will begin at 9am.
At 10am, there will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by choral singing led by local musicians Carle Kopecky, Bethany Yarrow, and Terri Roben.
There will be social distance signs yard signs and bumper stickers available.
