Festival Farmers Market opens Saturday

7/8/2020

In one of the few things not cancelled this summer, the Festival Farmers Market will kick off its 24th season Saturday in the parking lot of McCarthy Tires Services, Route 7, Cobleskill.
Farmers and vendors will be practicing COVID-19 protections and the public is expected to do the same and wear masks.
Saturday’s hours are 10am-2pm and from 10am until gone, the Barnerville United Methodist Church will hold its annual pie and bake sale.
On hand with produce, herbs, meat, cheeses, and eggs will be: Parson’s Vegetable Farm, Sharon Springs; Bohringer’s Fruit Farm, Middleburgh; Van-Dale Farms, Central Bridge; Cripplebush Creek Farm, Sloansville; and Will-A-Way Farm, Cobleskill.
Donna and Charles Olsen are Festival Farmers Market managers.
The Festival Farmers Market continues to accept Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program and WIC coupons and participates in the SCCAP/SNAP EBT Food Stamp Program.
Newcomers are invited to stop by the manager’s tent before shopping for additional advice.
