Cops seek help in rape arrest

State Police arrested an Erie, Pennsylvania man Saturday for the rape of an Esperance child he met through a chat app.
Keane M. Bokol, 27, was arrested following a report of missing child in the Town of Esperance.
An investigation revealed he had met and arranged to meet with the child through a chat app.
Troopers said Mr. Bokol traveled to the child’s home, then left the home with the child in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 19.
He is accused of then engaging in sexual and oral intercourse with the child, who is less than 15 years old.
He was charged with second degree rape, a Class D felony; disseminating indecent material to a minor, second degree, a Class E felony; endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, a violation.
Mr. Bokol was arraigned in Cobleskill Town Court and remanded to the Schoharie County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bail bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Cobleskill Town court Thursday at 11am.
State Police are also looking for any information the public may have about seeing a 2003 Ford Escape with the Pennsylvania plates JCT3462 in Schoharie and Montgomery Counties on or around September 19 in connection with the case.
Mr. Bokol was seen driving the car, police said.
