Voters in all Times-Journal area school districts approved their budgets in Tuesday’s elections.
Unofficial results for each district:
In Cobleskill-Richmondville, the $43.1 million budget passed 452-89.
Incumbents Aimee Yorke and Dominga Lent were re-elected to three year terms on the school board. Ms. Yorke received 360 votes, Ms. Lent garnered 339 votes, and challenger Jason Gagnon, 302.
Voters also approved The Community Library budget, 440-101.
Linda Carpenter and Julie Santoro were elected to five-year terms on the library board, and James Collins was elected to a four-year term.
Middleburgh: Voters approved the $22.9 million budget 258-74.
They also approved resolutions to buy five new buses for not more than $491,000, 251-81; to fund the repair reserve for not more than $275,000; and for the Rensselaerville Library to collect $15,000 in taxes.
Incumbents Becky Binder and Pam Standhart were re-elected to the school board, with Ms. Binder getting 261 votes, and Ms. Standhart, 249.
Schoharie: Voters approved the $25.5 million budget 296-84.
Voters also passed a resolution to buy four buses for not more than $332,000, 283-98, and another resolution to establish a capital reserve fund, 285-94.
Lynda Lewandowski and Lance Hellstrom, running unopposed, were elected to the school board.
The Schoharie Free Library levy was also approved, 295-87.
Sharon Springs: Voters overwhelmingly passed the $9.9 million budget, 78-4, and also approved a proposition to buy a bus for not more than $125,000, 75-7.
Incumbent Christine Cornwell was re-elected to a five-year seat on the school board, 73-2.
Gilboa-Conesville: The budget was approved 80-15.
Also approved were propositions to spend capital reserve funds for bus purchases, 79-15; establish a capital reserve fund for bus purchases, 77-16; and establish a repair reserve, 84-13.
Jacquelyn McGuire received 86 votes to be elected to the school board.
Jefferson: Voters approved the budget 118-49.
They also passed resolutions on bus purchases, 121-45; a repair reserve, 130-34; and a capital reserve, 124-40.
Marc Lawrence defeated Phoebe Schreiner, 116-51, in a race for a five-year term on the school board.
Worcester: Voters passed the budget 126-54 and also a bus proposition, 123-55.
William Fisher II, running unopposed, was re-elected to the school board.
