2 charged in seasonal burglaries; investigation ongoing

The New York State Police are investigating multiple burglaries that have occurred at seasonal residences in Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties.
Investigators are asking homeowners to check their seasonal properties and sheds.
An investigation is ongoing.
So far, two men have been arrested, but investigators believe additional suspects may be involved.
Both Christopher J. Youngs Jr., 23, of Maryland, New York, and John B. Clark, 27, of Morris have been charged with the felonies of burglary in the second degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
State Police have linked both men to burglaries in Otsego and Delaware counties.
They were arrested on July 10.
Mr. Youngs was remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond.
Mr. Clark was remanded to the Otsego County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
Investigators are seeking tips in locating the stolen property which includes guns, generators, tools and other items of value.

Trooper remind people to call 911 immediately if they see any suspicious activity.
They also remind those who possess guns or property of value to write down the serial numbers to those items.
If an owner has the serial number of the stolen item it can help investigators return items to their owners.
