2nd ATV fatal accident in 2 weeks

For the second time in two weeks, an ATV driver has been killed in a Schoharie County crash.
According to State Police, last Monday, July 26, they responded to a report of a fatal ATV crash on a property off Enid Road in the Town of Summit.
Troopers said a preliminary investigation determined that 28-year-old Kenneth Gabrielsen of Jamesport was operating an ATV on the property when he struck a tree head-on.
Mr. Gabrielsen was transported to Albany Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, Troopers said.
The crash remains under investigation.
On July 16, Joseph Yerdon, 49, of Cobleskill, was killed after he lost control of the ATV he was driving on Loonenburgh Turnpike in the Town of Seward and the vehicle overturned, ejecting him.
He was declared deceased at the scene.
