4-H Gardens fundraiser will wrap up Family Farm Day fun

Dozens of farms in Schoharie, Otsego and Delaware counties will open their doors to visitors Saturday for the ninth Family Farm Day, a full day that will wrap up with a Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce social hour from 4-6pm at Grapevine Farms.
The social hour is being hosted by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce.
Cheese and milk will be provided by Edsall Hill Dairy and Willow Pond Farm.
Guests will have also have an opportunity to enjoy wine and shopping with 20 percent of the purchases donated to the Schoharie 4-H Garden Project.
The Garden Project will allow 4-Her’s to learn a variety of gardening skills and display their produce at the 2022 Sunshine Fair.
Cornell Cooperative Extension in Schoharie and Otsego counties and Extension in Delaware County are hosting Family Farm Day.
There’s no set route for Family Farm Day. Visitors can stop at as many farms as they want from 10am to 5pm.

There are safety rules for Family Farm Day.
Pets are not allowed on farms, and visitors should stay within designated areas.
Also, visitors should adhere to COVID safety protocols requested by each farm.
