A Richmondville father and daughter were killed Sunday in a fatal motorcycle accident at the intersection of Route 7 and Hite Road.
According to State Police, Thomas G. Tilison, 70, the driver of the motorcycle, and his daughter, Tracy L. Tilison, 45, a passenger, were both declared deceased at the scene on the 4:22pm crash.
Troopers said a preliminary investigation determined that Emily Barner, 25, of Olean, was operating a Toyota Prius and was stopped at the intersection of Hite Road off the I-88 Warnerville interchange and Route 7.
Police said she pulled into the path of Mr. Tilison’s Harley Davidson, which was traveling east, causing the collision.
Ms. Barner was transported to Cobleskill Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
