State Police continue to investigate the Saturday murder of Connor E. Delaney of Richmondville.
Troopers responded to 359 Hite Road, Richmondville at 11:19pm after a 911 call and found that Mr. Delaney had died.
An autopsy Monday determined that Mr. Delaney, 21, died of gunshot wounds, and “the manner of death was homicide,” according to a State Police press release.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be an ongoing danger to the public,” the press release reads.
Mr. Delaney was a 2019 graduate of Middleburgh Central School.
As of Times-Journal press time, there have been no arrests.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” Schoharie County District Attorney Susan Mallery said Wednesday.
