State Police are asking for help about the January 30 homicide of Connor Delaney in Richmondville.
Law enforcement has released few details about the murder, but a spokesperson this week reached out for input.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact our Major Crimes Unit at Troop G Headquarters 518-783-3211,” Trooper Kerra Burns emailed.
Troopers responded to a Hite Road, Richmondville address at 11:19pm on the 30th and found Mr. Delaney had died.
An autopsy two days later determined Mr. Delaney, 21, had died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Since then, social media have been abuzz with information, but law enforcement confirmed none of it.
“State Police have a lot of avenues to follow up,” said Schoharie County District Attorney Susan Mallery.
“This remains an active investigation.”
Mr. Delaney was a 2019 graduate of Middleburgh Central School.
