Easter Bunny headed to town

The Easter Bunny and some of his friends will be making some local stops Saturday.
In Carlisle, the Carlisle Seniors and the Carlisle Youth Recreation Committee have teamed up to present a kid-friendly, family fun event starting at 9am, when the Seniors will host a Resurrection storytelling at the Town Hall on Crommie Road.
An egg hop will follow at 9:30am.
Children of all ages are invited to hunt for the more than 1,000 eggs hidden along the Carlisle Walking Trail.
In Sharon Springs, there will be an egg hunt at the school Saturday at 12:30pm.
A “few thousand,” eggs will be hidden on the grounds and some will have a golden ticket inside for a special prize.
Meet in front of the school to go over the rules.
The Easter Bunny will be there for photos; dress for the weather.
Saturday at Cobleskill’s Teen Town, the fun will run from 10am-noon.
There will be photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts with The Studio for Art and Craft and Girl Scout Trop 2484, hair bling, kittens from the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, and at 11am, an egg hunt with kids up to age 10 split into age groups.
In Central Bridge, the Civic Association’s Easter Egg hunt will take place at 11am Saturday, April 16, at the park.
There will also be chance to win one of three Easter baskets as well as coffee and other refreshments.
Open to kids 12 and under.
