Hams welcome all to Carlisle Field Days Saturday-Sunday

The Schoharie County Amateur Radio Association is once again participating in the American Radio Relay League Field Days exercises.
The two-day event, June 25-26, is intended to assure Amateur Radio preparedness to be of use in case of natural or other disaster, at times when communications may be compromised.
Radio Amateurs have a long, history of helping out when things are at their worst.
The public is invited to stop by the site at the Town of Carlisle public pavilion on Crommie Road, just south of Route 20.
Bring family and friends and explore a world that started well before cell phones and now extends to satellite communication and contact with astronauts on the Space Station.
Hours are from noon until dusk Saturday and 9am until early afternoon Sunday.
