Cops: Richmondville woman hid in store, fled with merch

A Richmondville woman was arrested last Wednesday for burglary after State Police said she hid in CVS and then emerged after the store closed, stealing and fleeing with multiple items.
Kara E. Goodknight, 30, of Richmondville, was charged with for burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony. 
Troopers said they responded to a call at the Cobleskill CVS at about 3:03am for an active burglary.
An investigation determined that Ms. Goodnight had entered the store while it was open and hid; she remained intentionally hidden until the store closed, Troopers said, when she stole multiple items and fled.
She was located walking a short distance away and taken into custody. 
Ms. Goodknight was transported to SP Cobleskill for processing.
She was arraigned at the Cobleskill Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
