Gallupville House gets CREATE grant

The Gallupville House Association has been awarded a grant by CREATE to fund its Music At The House program for 2023.
The program includes a contra dance featuring Paul Rosenberg and the Tamarack Band (held on February 25), a bluegrass show by the Doc Benson Band on Sunday, July 23 starting at 3pm, and a coffee house concert with Greg Bucking on Saturday, September 30 from 7-9pm.
“The Gallupville House Association will have a great year bringing music to the community and we are very grateful for the support CREATE is providing,” said grant writer Hilda Blevins.
Association President Scott Hadam agreed.
“My goal for the association was to host an event each month to bring people together and these funds are a wonderful shot in the arm. Thanks to CREATE for considering our application,” he said.
More information about these and other events put on by and at the Gallupville House, 913 State Route 443, Gallupville, is available on the Association’s website
