Let's go to the Fair
8/10/2023 |
With two days of Schoharie County Fair fun—including a sold-out concert by country music star Tracy Byrd—come and gone, there’s still time to enjoy farm animals, rides, food, and more.
The 146th Fair runs through Sunday.
New this year, the Canine Center will feature the Schoharie County Kennel Club with dogs and their handlers showing off their agility, rally and scent work skills.
And for the first time, in the Family Fun Park, Jessica Edgerly and her team of high-flying dock and Frisbee dogs will show off their skills every day as well.
Rosaire’s Royal Racing Pigs will be back for daily performances; also performing daily will be the Zerbini Circus and the Flying Cortes Aerial Trapeze.
Heather Brooke Hill Clydesdales will be at the Fair all seven days and from 4-H rabbits to Jerseys, all of the barns will be filled.
Dreamland Amusements will be providing the midway; all rides and all shows are included with admission.
Day-by-day highlights will include:
Thursday, August 10
Young American Day and Bike Give-Away Day with bike tickets available from 11am-5:30pm and the give-away in the Party Tent Theater at 6pm.
Friday, August 11
Tractor Pulling Day with events beginning at 6pm.
