Festival Farmers Market extends season by 2 Saturdays

The Festival Farmers Market at the Gathering Place, 127 Kenyon Road, Cobleskill, is extending its season, adding two Saturdays, October 21 and 28, 10am-2pm to its schedule.
Fall/winter vegetables and fruit—winter squashes, cabbage, potatoes, pumpkins, apples, and more will be available as will locally-raised beef, chicken, lamb, and eggs. dried catnip, goats milk soap, maple syrup, honey, candles, and mums.
If raining, the market will be held inside.
Shoppers can talk with the farmers about their products and production methods.
The market accepts EBT, Fresh Checks, WIC, and Farmers Market Nutrition Checks.
The Festival Farmers Market also announces two special events.
A Harvest Festival on Saturday, November 4, 10am-4pm, will feature farmers, crafters, and artisans selling their wares. Farmers will be accepting EBT, Fresh Checks WIC, and Farmers Market Nutrition Checks.
A Holiday Festive on Saturday, December 9, 10am-4 pm, will offer a wide variety of products from local farms, crafters, and artisans throughout the building.
It’s will be a last chance to purchase unique gifts for the holidays as well as winter vegetables, meats, eggs, and syrups.
