2nd Rural Vitality food, farm, fun Expo set for May 10

The Institute for Rural Vitality at SUNY Cobleskill will welcome the public and its partner growers, producers, and small businesses for the 2nd annual Empire State Entrepreneurial Expo on Friday, May 10.
Guests are invited to taste, try, and buy food, beverages, and other products made by small businesses and farms from the Mohawk Valley and beyond.
The Expo will also feature artisan, health, beauty, and farm-to-table businesses showcasing their products to sponsors, buyers, and the community.
Vendor and attendee registration information is now available at www.cobleskill.edu/institute under “Upcoming Events.”
Registration for attendees is $5 per person and goes toward supporting initiatives through the Institute for Rural Vitality that support new and growing farm and food businesses in the region.
Registration can be pre-paid with a credit card.
Cash or credit will be accepted at the door on the day of the event.
Small growers and producers interested in participating are invited to complete the Vendor Registration Form on the Institute’s website by April 26 to reserve a spot. Space is limited.
Last year’s inaugural Empire State Entrepreneurial Expo featured 25 regional vendors showcasing over 85 products, ranging from beverages to dairy products, meats to maple, and more, to over 100 attendees.

• Best Maple Product: Fieldridge Farms.
• Best Meat Product: Old Homestead Farm & Beers and Steers Tavern.
• Best Technology Product: GrownBy.
• Best Vegetable Product: B-Blossom Catering.
