Here it comes: Progress 2024

2/29/2024

Next week’s Times-Journal will be the biggest of the year.
The March 7 issue will be the largest not only in numbers of pages, but also in copies.
The issue will include the 42nd annual Progress edition and will also be mailed to every household in Schoharie County, plus those in Worcester, East Worcester, Cherry Valley, Stamford and Grand Gorge.
And there’s still time for businesses to purchase ads and readers to submit news stories and photos for the issue, which will have a run of 20,000-plus.
Next week’s T-J is coming out a day early, so new deadlines are necessary.
“It will be a great issue,” said T-J Publisher Jim Poole. “The Progress magazine, 76 pages, has photos and stories from more than 150 local businesses. We’re proud of the magazine and the businesses that participated.”
Although the Progress magazine is already printed, advertisers can take advantage of the issue’s wide circulation. So can people submitting news.
“And we’re looking for news for that issue, too,” said Mr. Poole. “There will be high readership for anyone who wants to reach everyone in Schoharie County.”

DEADLINES

Next week’s Times-Journal will be published on Wednesday instead of Thursday, so early deadlines are in place.
The deadline for all advertising––display ads, classifieds and legals––is 5pm Friday.
The deadline for letters to the editor, correspondence, social news, and arts and entertainment is 9am Monday.
The deadline for obituaries is 9am Tuesday.
Next week’s T-J is coming out a day early because it will include the annual Progress magazine, and more time is necessary for delivery.
Deadlines the following week will return to their normal times.
