SCS grad Lints 5th at women's wrestling championships

Zoey Lints (143), a 2023 Schoharie Central School graduate and Duanseburg-Schoharie wrestling alum, now wrestling for Elmira College, took fifth at the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships Saturday, with four wins, including three pins, and two losses.
Lints scored 16 team points for Elmira:
Championship Round 1--Zoey Lints (Elmira College) received a bye.
Championship Round 2--Zoey Lints (Elmira College) won by decision over Khadijah Sanusi (Sacred Heart) (decision 8-7).
Quarterfinal--Reese Larramendy (Iowa) won by tech fall over Zoey Lints (Elmira College) (TF 10-0).
Consolation Round 4--Zoey Lints (Elmira College) won by fall over Alissa Caltagirone (Northern Michigan University) (Fall 1:37).
Consolation Round 5--Zoey Lints (Elmira College) won by fall over Erica Schroeder (Colorado Mesa University) (fall 0:55).
