Extension hosting ag forum

Agricultural producers, landowners, and small farm entrepreneurs are invited to participate at an agricultural issues forum on Thursday, October 18, from 7-9pm.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schoharie County is hosting the forum to help update its agricultural plan of work.
The forum will be held at the Extension Center, 173 South Grand Street, in Cobleskill.
Individuals are encouraged to call ahead and register. Beverages and desserts will be provided. Call 234-4303.
It has been some time since the last update was conducted, and the composition of agriculture has changed.
Agriculture remains the number one industry in the county, but more importantly, it continues to offer significant opportunities for landowners.
Individuals with interests in agriculture are encouraged to share their insights on the present and future county agricultural needs.
This is an opportunity for Schoharie County residents to help guide Cornell Cooperative Extension in agricultural programming for the next several years.
