PA man indicted in November murder

Michael Todtschinder, 22, of Pennsylvania, has been indicted by a Schoharie County Grand Jury on charges of:
• Second-degree murder, a Class A-1 felony.
• First-degree manslaughter, a Class B felony.
• Five counts of tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony.
• Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a Class C felony.
• Concealment of a human corpse, a Class E felony.
Mr. Todtschinder was arraigned in Schoharie County Court Friday, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Bail was set at $200,000 cash/$400,000 bond or $800,000 partially-secured bond and he was remanded to the Schoharie County Jail.
It’s alleged that on November 25, 2023, in the Town of Fulton, Mr. Todtschinder and his co-defendant caused the death of Jeffrey Mickle by shooting Mr. Mickle multiple times.
The two then allegedly concealed the corpse of Mr. Mickle under a truck cap in a junk yard in the Town of Broome.
In May, Walter J. Fahrenkopf, 40, of Fulton, pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter and concealment of a human corpse in the same incident.
His sentencing will be November 4; it is anticipated that he will be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
