A 22-year-old Cobleskill man was killed Thursday after a collision between his electric bike and a northbound vehicle on Route 10 in the Town of Seward.
Services will be held Saturday for Mackenzie Bamberger, who was airlifted from the scene to Albany Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
State Police said they responded to reports of the accident at the intersection of Route 10 and Hill Road at about 2:13pm.
Troopers said Mr. Bamberger entered the intersection from Hill Road, where he was struck.
The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and called 911, they said.
The investigation is ongoing and the driver has been cooperative, they said.
The road was closed for about five hours for the investigation, which included accident reconstruction.
Mr. Bamberger was a 2020 graduate of Cobleskill-Richmondville High School and a Life Boy Scout.
