2 arrested on 49 drug counts

Scott Kossow, 38, of Middleburgh, and Alexa Sutton, 31, of Blenheim, were both indicted by a Schoharie County Grand Jury on charges of possessing and selling large amounts of meth locally on multiple occasions following a six-month long investigation by the State Police and Schoharie County District Attorney Susan Mallery.
Mr. Kossow was indicted on a total of 29 counts on the following charges:
• Four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree, one-half ounce or more containing methamphetamine, a Class A-II felony.
• Four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree, five grams or more of a stimulant, a Class A-II felony.
• Four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, 10 grams or more of a stimulant, a Class A-II felony.
• One count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, one gram or more of a stimulant, a Class B felony.
• Four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, one-half ounce or more containing methamphetamine, a Class C felony.
• Five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, one gram or more of a stimulant, a Class C felony.
• One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, intent to sell, a Class D felony.
• Six counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
Ms. Sutton was indicted on the following 20 charges:
• Three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree, five grams or more of a stimulant, a Class A-II felony.
• Three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, 10 grams or more of a stimulant, a Class A-II felony.
• One count criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree, one-half ounce or more containing methamphetamine, a Class A-II felony.
• Three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, intent to sell, one gram or more of a stimulant, a Class B felony.
• One count criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, one gram or more of a stimulant, a Class B felony.
• One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, one-half ounce or more containing methamphetamine.
• Three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, one gram or more of a stimulant, a Class C felony.
• One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, intent to sell, a Class D felony.
• Five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
