Middleburgh Rotary to sell off Lights in the Park

There’s no time like now to start decorating for Christmas.
Or at least start shopping.
On Sunday, October 6, the Middleburgh Rotary Club will be selling off lights, outdoor features and fixtures from its Lights in the Park event.
Due to a lack of volunteers, the Rotary has discontinued the event and instead of seeing the decorations sitting in storage, wants them to go to good homes, said Rotarian Joan Wissert.
Most of the decorations are lawn-sized and there may be some extension cords, Ms. Wissert said.
There are also quite a few metal angels that the Rotary is willing to donate to local churches.
Middleburgh churches have taken quite a few, she said, but there are still quite a few more left.
The sale will be Sunday, October 6, 9am-3pm, under a tent at 106 Conrad Weiser Lane, Middleburgh.
For more information or to request photos of some of the items, early Christmas shoppers can email the Rotary at MiddleburghRotary Club@gmail.com.
