Tell us what's in your kitchen: T-J wants your recipes

10/10/2024

The Times-Journal wants to know what’s cookin’ in your kitchen.
The T-J is looking for your recipes to share with readers in the 31st Hometown Cooking cookbook.
Recipes must be in the T-J office by October 28, and the cookbook will be in the November 21 paper.
A flyer in this issue provides space for recipe ingredients and instructions.
“This is one of our favorite projects because it’s fun to see what Schoharie County’s cooking,” said the T-J’s Jim Poole.
“And although it comes out right before the holidays, the cookbook will cover all the bases. We’ve had great barbecue recipes in the past.”
Recipes can be appetizers, drinks and punch, breads, soups, casseroles and quiches, meat and fish, game, salads, vegetables and sides and slow cooker favorites.
There’s a limit of three recipes per person.
Ingredients and instructions must be clear. The flyer includes space for name and address. It also asks for a phone number in case there are questions; the number won’t be published.
