Starting January 6, the Times-Journal will have new, earlier deadlines.
The T-J will continue to be published on Thursday, but the deadline change will allow us to make a company-wide switch to a different printer.
“It’s part of an effort to streamline our operation and make our production more efficient,” said Capital Region Independent Media Publisher Warren Dews Jr.; CRIM added the T-J to its family of upstate weeklies in October.
The new deadlines are:
• 10am Monday for press releases, social news, Looking Ahead, library news, letters to the editor, and correspondence.
• 8am Tuesday for all other news, including sports and obituaries.
• 4pm Friday for real estate, auto, and Arts & Entertainment ads.
• 2pm Monday for legal and classified advertising.
• 4pm Monday for display ads.
