T-J looking for Top 5IVE

1/9/2025

As part of Capital Region Independent Media, the Times-Journal is looking to shine the light on local individuals, businesses, and non-profits that make the Schoharie County area a great place to live by recognizing them as among the Top 5IVE community changemakers.
This is the third year for the CRIM event; those honored by the Times-Journal in five categories—the top five women, men, BIPOC, youth ages 15-23, and businesses and non-profits—will be recognized at a May 9 dinner celebration.
And we need your help.
“There are so many who do so much, and they should be recognized for their accomplishments and contributions,” said Mark Vinciguerra, president of CRIM.
“We want to do our part to highlight the vital work that is being done all around our communities.”
Nominations can be submitted by anyone for local people, businesses or non-profit organizations by using this link https://nyvtmedia.secondstreetapp.com/Times-Journal-Top-5IVE-2025.
“We are looking to shine a light on the many people and groups that make their neighborhood a better place,” said Warren Dews Jr., vice president and publisher of the Times-Journal.
“We are looking for nominations for the movers and shakers who light up our communities.”
Deadline for nominations is February 28.
Nominees must be people who live, work or were raised in the greater Schoharie County area, including Worcester and Stamford.
Winners will be selected by a panel of business leaders in the communities in CRIM’s North Division.
