Deadline for SEEC Curb Appeal $ is March 2

The Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corp (SEEC) is wrapping up application submissions for its locally-funded grant initiative, SEEC Placemaking: Curb Appeal. The 2024 program, tracked more than $175,329 total investment across 11 projects in seven communities.
Deadline for the 2025 grants is March 2.
In 2024, the program funded painted storefronts, upgraded windows, improved signage, porches and landscaping at local businesses and in public spaces, including fostering community pride.
2024 Project Sites:
Jefferson Art Room, the Hewitt Building, Charlotteville General Store, Gallupville House, Iron Horse Tattoo, Green Wolf Brewing, Second Chance Retail, The Forget Me Not Soda Shoppe, Schoharie Mercantile, Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church and Lappeus Funeral Home.
Commercial businesses and property owners located in the village centers and hamlets are eligible with preference given to historic district improvements.
Grant awards are up to $5,000 and may receive free design consultation.
Applications are now available online and must be submitted by March 2.
Funding awards will be announced by the end of March, with project completion targeted for December 2025.
