Looking a lot like Christmas

Christmas got its start in Cobleskill and beyond over the weekend—and even though it was a little chilly, at least there was snow.
Christmastime in Schoharie Friday and Saturday featured everything from music to ornament-making to Victorian games at a handful of spots around the village.
In Cobleskill, Christmas came Saturday, when CREST hosted its annual holiday bazaar—complete with a visit from Santa—at Ryder Elementary.
The holiday spirit in Cobleskill continued the next day with CPI’s Downtown Christmas celebration, festivities that featured a tree lighting and a holiday parade.
Finally, an hour late, but well worth the wait, C-P Rail’s Holiday Train rolled into the Cobleskill station just before 8pm before a crowd of hundreds and with a $1,000 check for SCCAP food banks.
The train also featured a holiday musical show.
