Ansel-McCabe re-elected in Middleburgh

In the only local race for mayor, Middleburgh’s Bill Ansel-McCabe won re-election to his second four-year term Tuesday, defeating challenger John Shaw Jr., 122-67.
Also in Middleburgh, incumbent trustees Charles “Butch Ingraham and Gerald Bowman won re-election, polling 113 and 117 respectively.
Challenger Andrew Adams, who was also seeking the trustee’s post, polled 87 votes.
Both seats are for four year terms.
Finally, Bonnie Ingraham garnered 146 votes to fill out thelast two years of James Navilio’s seat.
Ms. Ingraham was the only one running for the post, which has been held by Ruth Strong since Mr. Navilio moved from the village.

Richmondville
In Richmondville, incumbent trustee Geroge Konta and newcomer William Lape were the winners, earning 79 and 67 votes respectively.
Paul Sawyer, another newcomer, earned 21 votes; incumbent trustee Carl Warner Jr. lost his seat with 46 votes.
Mr. Konta and Mr. Lape will take office April 1.

In Schoharie, incumbent trustees Ed August and Richard Young ran unopposed for re-election and in Esperance, Daniel DeFilippd ran unopposed for the seat of outgoing trustee Carmine Petracca.
