The Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce and FMS Workforce Solutions System are planning a job fair to be held on June 10 at the Best Western Inn of Cobleskill. The job fair will run from 3-6pm.
“Schoharie County has gotten a lot of attention recently because of the high unemployment rate,” states Jodie Rutt, executive director of the Chamber.
“This job fair gives residents to perfect setting in which to learn more about the companies that are hiring and to help them find employment.”
There is no charge to attend the event.
The job fair is being organized by a partnership of the Chamber, FMS Workforce Solutions System, Schoharie County Department of Social Services, Schoharie County Community Action Program and Experience Works.
There are currently 28 companies who have employment opportunities that will be present at the job fair.
