Schoharie Central School voters okayed a $19.58 million budget Tuesday by a count of 473 to 403 in a re-vote.
The district’s $19.7 million budget was turned down on May 20, 407 to 441.
The new budget increases the tax levy by 2.68 percent, down from the previous increase of 4.44 percent.
SCS board members cut more than $133,000 from the original budget for the re-vote.
District officials said that an additional $200,000 would have to be cut if the district has to go to a contingency budget.
