Barefoot Boys, 100-Mile Meal Friday

The Barefoot Boys will perform Friday, November 21 at the Schoharie United Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
The concert will be preceded by a 100-Mile potluck dinner at 6pm. Canned goods and non-perishable items will be collected for the Schoharie Community Food Pantry.
Suggested donations. Patrons who bring food for the Food Pantry will be given $1 off admission.
A 100-Mile meal encourages people to make dishes that contain ingredients grown or produced within a 100-mile radius of Schoharie County.
The Barefoot Boys play an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary folk songs. Many of these songs originated in the Hudson Valley.
They tell the stories of many familiar places and names in the history of New York. With wit and musical dexterity the Boys take their audiences on a journey that blends Appalachian, Celtic and modern genres. Their latest CD, Sweetwater Passage, has songs about the Northeast’s inland waterways and the people who worked them.
