Worcester budget no; rest, yes

Worcester Central School voters rejected their $7.6 million budget Tuesday, 207-168.
George Mravlja was elected to the school board over Peter Armao, 224-142.
The rest of the local budgets passed easily.
Cobleskill-Richmondville voters approved their $38 million budget, 672-315, approved a new bus, 656-361, and re-elected Liz Montario and Howard to their own seats on the school board.
Mr. Rickard (631) was running unopposed; Ms. Montario (572) was challenged by Darius Benson (218) and Craig Erikson (118).
Voters also approved the $181,720 Community Library budget, 663-377.
In Schoharie, the budget passed 499-310, the school bus purchase, 501-303, and Carol Ann Wilber (521) and Barbara Monsees (435) were elected to the school board; Lisa Watson had 419 votes.
In Middleburgh, the $19.7 million budget passed 453-241 and the bus purchase, 385-301.
Elected to the school board were James Barber (393) and Bob Herodes (378) over Marc Newsome (281) and Bruce Bartels (201).
At Sharon Springs, the $8.2 million budget was approved, 181-58.
Helen Roberts kept her school board seat with 143 votes; challenger Joshua Simpson, a senior, got 92 votes.
In Jefferson, the budget passed 141-78 and the bus purchase, 149-70.
Gregory Starheim was elected to the school board with 171 votes..
At Gilboa-Conesville, voters approved a $9.5 million budget, 151-52, the school bus purchase, 133-57, and elected school board members Peter Fox (196) and Evelyn Adams (167).
