It’s official:
Cobleskill has a race for mayor.
Nominating petitions for Village of Cobleskill positions on the November ballot were due yesterday, Tuesday.
As of press time, candidates included:
• Concerned Citizens Party—Mark Nadeau, mayor; Robert Hotaling, trustee.
• Tea Party—Mark Galasso, trustee.
• Community Party—Alexander I. “Sandy” MacKay, mayor.
Mayor Mike Sellers is not seeking re-election.
In addition to that post, two trustee seats will also be on the ballot.
Mr. Galasso is running again for his own seat; Mr. MacKay, also a trustee, is running for mayor instead.
