Angell, Murray both in the ring

Linda Angell received the Republican nod and Tom Murray the Democrats’ for Cobleskill town supervisor in the parties’ respective caucuses.
Incumbent Roger Cohn has decided not to seek re-election because of health reasons, prompting the contest.
Ms. Angell is deputy supervisor and has served as a councilman for 24 years.
Mr. Murray has also served as town councilman.
The Republicans also endorsed Ryan McAllister and Sherwood Veith for councilmen; the Democrats endorsed Patricia Adams and Brian Kaiser.
Mr. Veith is running again for his own seat; Ms. Angell’s seat is also up.
For town justice, Nancy Hisert got the Republican nod and Mark Weiss the Democrats’.
